The beautiful Embassy Suites Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square is looking for a talented Executive Chef to join the team!
Opened to much acclaim in 2018 and most recently ranked the #1 hotel in all of Seattle by TripAdvisor , this stunning hotel is located adjacent to Century Link Field in downtown Seattle with 282 rooms and over 12,000 square feet of banquet space.
In this role, you will report to the Director of Food and Beverage, overseeing a team of up to 20 with responsibilities for complimentary breakfast, lobby lounge, and all banquet functions. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a senior culinary leadership role and a passion for creativity and innovation.

What will I be doing?
As Executive Chef, you would be responsible for directing and administering the planning, preparation, production and control of all culinary operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Direct and oversee all culinary operations, to include, but not limited to, production of all hotel meals, food quality and presentation, compliance with all safety and sanitation standards and regulations, team member productivity and performance, implementation of policies and procedures, cost controls and overall profitability
Create and implement new menus and individual menu items for outlets based on current food trends and regional tastes in partnership with Director of Food and Beverage
Interact with guests and clients to monitor and assess satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
Perform general management duties including, but not limited to, systems management, budget and forecasting, report generation, department management and meeting participation and facilitation
Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward

Hilton’s hotel Executive Committee (EC) members are eligible to participate in the bonus plan applicable to the hotel property and position, subject to the terms and conditions of the plan, including the Company's Bonus Plan Administration Guidelines. The bonus program is capped at 30% and based on achievement of multiple individually weighted objectives.
The annual salary range for this role is $98,000-$108,000 and is based on specialized experience and location.
