A popular convenient restaurant is LAS BRISAS, at 361 Cliff Drive, above Main Beach and next to the Laguna Beach Museum on the Pacific Coast Highway. It serves a range of seafood and other dishes with a Mexican style. Almost every table has a fantastic ocean view, with beautiful sunsets. The pathway outside the restaurant allows you to stroll after dinner along the Laguna Beach bluffs, overlooking some amazing tide pools.
SPLASHES RESTAURANT AND BAR is located ocean-front in the Surf & Sand Resort hotel at South Coast Highway1555. This is an elegant restaurant to visit for special occasions. All the tables have ocean views and, of course, spectacular sunsets!
THE BEACH HOUSE was previously the beach front home of Slim Summerville, an actor from the 1930's and 1940's. It is in a residential, beach-side area, and most tourists to Laguna Beach would never observe it, if a native person didn't tell them about it. Lovely beach views tables, as well as a few tables that are put outside on a narrow balcony.
ZINC CAFE AND MARKET at 350 Ocean Ave is a magnificent little gourmet vegetarian restaurant that is enjoyable for breakfast or lunch. It is an outdoor seating restaurant and, even though there is no ocean view, the food is superb. It also has an accepted selection of take-out items.
Another one is THE LOFT at the Montage Hotel in South Laguna Beach is famous not only for the food, and the lovely view, but also have a motive to see the spectacular Montage Hotel, itself. The Montage also is house to THE STUDIO, with fabulous French cuisine.
